Blaise C. Milburn, MD
Obstetrics and Gynecology,
Medical and Surgical Consultant

“I am a general OBGYN with all the traditional medicine. I also received specialized and innovative training aimed to help women with reproductive/infertility issues, called NaProTechnology®. This approach uses an advanced robotic surgical solution, finding the root cause of the underlying disease, and treating it at the source, which results in a better outcome and lasting healing for the patient. I LOVE nothing more than working with patients to discover the root issue at hand and offer actual answers and healing solutions."

Dr. Blaise: Testimonials and Success Stories

Ideally, this section would have shorter testimonials/stories and photos

My husband and I have an enormous amount of gratitude for Dr. Milburn as he helped us start our family after years of unexplained infertility.  Prior to working with Dr. Milburn, we had the standard infertility workup where everything appeared to be normal, so we dug deeper by working with a Functional Medicine Dr. as well as a Functional Dietician and we were still left without answers.  My prior OBGYN indicated that we would likely never find a reason and my best option was to see a Reproductive Endocrinologist and follow their protocol of IUI and possibly IVF.  I never made an appointment with the RE and was lucky enough to find Dr. Milburn instead.
At my first appointment with Dr. Milburn, I was emotionally fragile and exhausted by what we had already been through, but for the first time, we were given hope and possible answers!  He was extremely empathetic to our situation and very thorough in his review of my medical history.  He asked questions about my cycles that no other providers asked and was able to pick up on more subtle symptoms that had previously been overlooked.  Dr. Milburn suspected that I had endometriosis and recommended surgery to diagnose the disease.
I started charting my cycles using the Creighton method and proceeded with the surgery where it was confirmed that I had endometriosis and would need a second procedure to remove the affected tissue given the severity of the disease.  We were so grateful to finally have a reason for our unexplained infertility that proved the infertility was a symptom of an underlying health condition.  Following the second surgery, Dr. Milburn reviewed my charts each month and I had monthly bloodwork and ultrasounds using the chart as a tool to determine the best timing.  The charts served as indicators of bio-markers which allowed a tailored approach to treating our fertility.  We conceived the 3rd cycle after the second surgery and decided to stay with Dr. Milburn throughout the pregnancy because of the superior level of care.
I wish NaPro was the standard for all women’s care.  While it takes a commitment from the patient to learn the specific charting method, the charts are an extremely valuable tool in identifying health issues and optimizing fertility care.  While there are never guarantees with treating infertility, I think that given the choice, most women would choose to find the root cause and heal their bodies with individualized care instead of approaching infertility with the standard protocols of IUI and IVF as those approaches are extremely taxing physically, emotionally and financially.
We can’t thank Dr. Milburn enough as he gave us the greatest gift of restoring my fertility.

The human body is made to do amazing things. Sometimes, however, for a variety of different reasons, it needs support. Steel City Men’s Clinic (SCMC) strives to offer support in a way that works in cooperation with the body. As men age, naturally-produced hormones, including testosterone, begin to diminish.  This may result in a loss of mental clarity, brain fog, lack of physical endurance, exhaustion, compromised sexual performance, poor sleep, anxiety and even depression.
